Any FFA member who is interested in competing in a summer CDE, please sign up on the poster outside of Ms. Ralph and Mrs. Hufford’s classroom.  The summer CDE’s are:  Agronomy, Landscaping, Livestock Judging, Horse Judging, Dairy Showmanship and Dairy Judging.  Practices will be held weekly starting June 10th.

The last book club will be held on Wednesday, May 29th to discuss the “House of the Scorpion”.  It will be held in the library and you will need to have your ride ready to pick you up at 3:45pm.

All SGA members please report to Mrs. Medina’s room immediately following homeroom to pick up a permission slip.

The 8th grade carnival is June 4th from 8 – 10am.  If you sold at least one pizza kit, your admission is free.  All other 8th grade students will need to pay $5.00 to your homebase teacher if you would like to participate.  Money will be collected the day before and the day of the carnival.  Your homebase teacher will have a list of students who sold and paid.  All other students will not be allowed to enter.  Here’s what you need to know:  starting May 6th, if you receive a referral to the office, you will not be allowed in the carnival for the first hour.  If you get two or more referrals, you are not allowed in the carnival at all.  Lunch detentions and teacher detentions are excluded.  This is a fun celebration for all 8th graders so keep your record clean and you’ll have a blast!
